The hiking trails in the Zahmer Kaiser and the smugglers' trail to the Klobenstein pilgrimage church are particularly recommended.

Cyclists also get their money's worth: the region offers over 180 kilometers of signposted cycle paths and 125 kilometers of mountain bike trails. One particularly beautiful tour is the Kössen cycling route along the picturesque Walchsee lake, which is also perfect for e-bikers.
